Art Statement

Charcoal and graphite pencil drawing of a tangle of driftwood washed up on a beach in the form of two lovers sharing a final moment.  Limbs, tree roots and upended tree trunks crash together in a chaotic pile around the central cinematic moment of shared emotion and tragedy.
