'Autumn Fairy'

Art Statement

The Autumn Fairy is a personification of the season, Autumn. She represents the richness of Autumn in its golds, reds and warm browns. Her robes billow and flow around her in the Autumnal winds. Her hair is blazing red like the most vivid leaves in Autumn and upon her head is a wreath of deciduous vines from the forest. Her companion is the Lynx – a wild, swift, unpredictable animal just like Autumn. Behind her is an ancient gnarled oak giving a timeless strength to the inevitable change of seasons.
